Elevated Autoworks
Privacy Policy
Effective October 2, 2026
Elevated Autoworks Inc. ("Elevated Autoworks", "we", "us") is a cosmetic auto repair shop in Calgary, Alberta. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you send a repair evaluation request, we collect what you enter in the form:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your vehicle's year, make and model
- The type of damage and your description of it
- Any photos you upload
Phone calls. When you call us, we receive your phone number and the time and length of the call. If you call a number shown in one of our Google ads or on this website after clicking an ad, the call may be routed through a Google forwarding number so we can tell that the call came from an ad. We do not record calls.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site uses cookies and similar technologies. Through them we and our service providers collect information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your browser and device type, your IP address and your approximate location.
How we use it
- To review your damage, prepare an estimate and reply to you
- To book and carry out your repair
- To understand how people find and use this website
- To measure how well our advertising works and improve it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to send you marketing emails or texts unless you ask us to.
Advertising and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic, and Google Ads to advertise our services. These tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager and use cookies.
When you submit the evaluation form after clicking one of our ads, your email address and phone number are converted into a scrambled code (a process called hashing) and sent to Google. Google uses this code only to match your request to the ad that led to it, so we can see which ads bring in real enquiries. If you go on to book a repair with us, we may also send Google the same scrambled contact details together with the value of the job, for the same measurement purpose.
When you arrive on this site by clicking one of our Google ads, the site also keeps the ad's click reference number in your browser for up to 90 days and includes it with any evaluation form you send. We use it only to match a booked repair to the ad that led to it.
Google may also use cookies from this site to show our ads to people who have visited it. You can learn how Google uses information from sites like ours at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, control ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run this website and our advertising:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and stores form submissions and uploaded photos
- Google, for analytics, advertising and ad measurement as described above
- Azura Marketing, the marketing agency that manages this website and our advertising, and which receives a copy of form submissions for that purpose
Some of these providers store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held there is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts and authorities. If you have questions about how our service providers outside Canada handle personal information, contact us using the details below.
We may also disclose personal information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep evaluation requests and photos for as long as we need them to respond to you, complete your repair and keep reasonable business records, and then delete them or remove the details that identify you.
How we protect it
We limit access to your information to the people who need it to do their work, and we use service providers that protect data with industry-standard safeguards. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Your choices and rights
Under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act and other Canadian privacy laws that apply to us, you can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and how it has been used
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Withdraw your consent to our continued use of your information, subject to legal or contractual limits
To make a request, contact us using the details below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta at oipc.ab.ca.
